Ancient Crimson armor is an armor set that is identical in all ways to the current Crimson armor set. Each piece is interchangeable with the equivalent Crimson armor piece, while still granting the same set bonus of greatly increasing the health regen of the player.
Each piece has a 1/525 (~0.19%) chance of being dropped by a Crimera.
Notes[]
- If you mix the ancient set and its current counterpart, you will still get the set bonus.
- If you have a decent amount of gear with a new player, you can farm Crimera's and skip to Crimson Armor very early on.
- Farming for Ancient Crimson Armor is much slower in a Hardmode
world because the spawn rate for the Crimera is much lower, and is most likely pointless.
